The School of Visual Communication is one of the five schools that make up the Scripps College of Communication. Our building is the Schoonover Center for Communication.
The undergraduate sequences in VisCom are Information Design: Publication, Information Design: Interactive, Commercial Photography, and Photojournalism.
At the graduate level, there’s an M.A. with four specialized sequences: Photojournalism, Commercial Photography, Information Graphics and Interactive Design, and Visual Communication Management.
Our terminal degree is an M.F.A. in Communication Media Arts. This is a partnership with two other Scripps College schools: Media Arts and Studies, and Emerging Communication Technologies, in collaboration with the College of Fine Arts.
Ohio University was founded in 1804. This is Cutler Hall on College Green.
